Part Four of the ASID NSW/ACT Ethical Issues in Ageing Webinar Series

ASID NSW / ACT is hosting an interactive webinar series furthering the conversation on ‘Ethical Issues in Ageing’.  Our fourth event in this series will consider ethical issues relating to families for people with intellectual disability, delivered by Dr Angela Dew, Senior Research Fellow, Intellectual Disability Behaviour Support (IDBS) program at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

C:\fakepath\angela dewAngela is a sociologist with 35 years’ experience in the disability sector as a direct service provider, manager and researcher.  Angela’s PhD research examined the relationship between adult siblings with and without cerebral palsy as parents aged. She is currently engaged in research related to people with cognitive disability and complex support needs. Angela’s research focuses on understanding the lived experience of people with disability and their families with a particular interest in rural and regional and Aboriginal communities.
