Sandee Facy is the Head of Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Australia & New Zealand (Oceania).

Sandee joined the Bayley House team in 2021, a long standing not for profit organisation here in Melbourne

Sandee is passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to create long-standing meaningful partnerships with businesses, organisations & sectors to ensure that ALL Sunflower wearers have Sunflower-friendly destinations across Australia and New Zealand to visit and enjoy to the fullest.

This presentation introduces the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program and how it supports individuals with non-visible disabilities in everyday environments.

Key topics include understanding non-visible disabilities, the importance of inclusive communication, and practical steps to embed the Sunflower program into your organisation. Participants will leave with increased awareness, confidence, and tools to support customers, colleagues, and communities more effectively.

 

Audience

Designed for workplaces, customer-facing teams, and community organisations, the session explores how to recognise the Sunflower, respond with confidence, and create more inclusive, supportive spaces.
