There will be a meeting of the Aotearoa -NZ Division of the Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (Ltd) at
- 7.00pm on Thursday, 1 December 2022
All members of the Division are cordially invited to attend.
The meeting will consist of a brief report of ASID activities in both Australia and NZ from Debbie Espiner, Chairperson of the Aotearoa-NZ Division, nominations and elections for Committee positions and general business.

Our constitution requires that we call for nominations for any vacant committee positions. There are eight vacant committee member positions. Accordingly nominations are sought for the following
Eight Divisional (8) committee members
All positions are for a three year term. An election will be held if more valid nominations are received than there are positions available. Nomination forms are included below and need to be received by 5.00pm Friday 20 November 2022 by email or mailed to the address included on the form.
With the recent amendment to the Constitution, each Division no longer nominates representatives for the Board. A call went out to all ASID members to nominate members for the Board. The Nominations Committee has received nominations and is recommending candidates at the AGM.
If you are not able to attend the meeting you are able to appoint a proxy representative authorised to attend and vote at the Divisional meeting on your behalf (Form attached). These should also be received by 5.00pm Friday 20 November 2022.
