ASID is an Australasian peak body in intellectual disability and promotes research to inform and influence practice and policy. ASID aims to achieve a society where people with intellectual disability have the same rights and opportunities as all citizens.

ASID wishes to engage an Inclusion Consultant to increase the accessibility and inclusivity of ASID activities for people with intellectual disability. In the first instance the focus will be inclusion in the 2022 conference in November. The consultant should have experience of working with adults with an intellectual disability and overcoming any barriers to participation they face.

We seek to contract an experienced consultant for an average of 12 hours a week for a 5-month period commencing in June/July 2022. Remuneration is in the range of $80 – 100 per hour and will be determined based on experience. Applicants must have an ABN and relevant insurance.
